CVSS v3.1 |
LibTIFF 4.0.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash) via a crafted TIFF image, related to libtiff/tif_ojpeg.c:816:8.
In TrustZone in all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a Time-of-Check Time-of-Use Race Condition vulnerability could potentially exist.
Linux kernel: heap out-of-bounds in AF_PACKET sockets. This new issue is analogous to previously disclosed CVE-2016-8655. In both cases, a socket option that changes socket state may race with safety checks in packet_set_ring. Previously with PACKET_VERSION. This time with PACKET_RESERVE. The solution is similar: lock the socket for the update. This issue may be exploitable, we did not investigate further. As this issue affects PF_PACKET sockets, it requires CAP_NET_RAW in the process namespace. But note that with user namespaces enabled, any process can create a namespace in which it has CAP_NET_RAW.
The raw_sendmsg() function in net/ipv4/raw.c in the Linux kernel through 4.14.6 has a race condition in inet->hdrincl that leads to uninitialized stack pointer usage; this allows a local user to execute code and gain privileges.
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the NVIDIA video driver could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of the kernel. This issue is rated as Critical due to the possibility of a local permanent device compromise, which may require reflashing the operating system to repair the device. Product: Android. Versions: Kernel 3.10. Android ID: A-34113000. References: N-CVE-2017-0331.
The Virtio Vring implementation in QEMU allows local OS guest users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and QEMU process crash) by unsetting vring alignment while updating Virtio rings.
In libsndfile 1.0.25 (fixed in 1.0.26), a divide-by-zero error exists in the function wav_w64_read_fmt_chunk() in wav_w64.c, which may lead to DoS when playing a crafted audio file.
The cirrus_do_copy function in hw/display/cirrus_vga.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator), when cirrus graphics mode is VGA, allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and QEMU process crash) via vectors involving blit pitch values.
It is possible to bypass the bitbucket auto-unapprove plugin via minimal brute-force because it is relying on asynchronous events on the back-end. This allows an attacker to merge any code into unsuspecting repositories. This affects all versions of the auto-unapprove plugin, however since the auto-unapprove plugin is not bundled with Bitbucket Server it does not affect any particular version of Bitbucket.
The usbnet_generic_cdc_bind function in drivers/net/usb/cdc_ether.c in the Linux kernel through 4.13.11 allows local users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted USB device.
The qmi_wwan_bind function in drivers/net/usb/qmi_wwan.c in the Linux kernel through 4.13.11 allows local users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted USB device.
In FreeBSD through 11.1, the smb_strdupin function in sys/netsmb/smb_subr.c has a race condition with a resultant out-of-bounds read, because it can cause t2p->t_name strings to lack a final '\0' character.
Race condition in the v9fs_xattrwalk function in hw/9pfs/9p.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS users to obtain sensitive information from host heap memory via vectors related to reading extended attributes.
A time-of-check time-of-use race condition could potentially exist in the secure file system in all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel.
decode_line_info in dwarf2.c in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.29, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash) via a crafted ELF file.
flower.initd in the Gentoo dev-python/flower package before 0.9.1-r1 for Celery Flower sets PID file ownership to a non-root account, which might allow local users to kill arbitrary processes by leveraging access to this non-root account for PID file modification before a root script executes a "kill `cat /pathname`" command.
LibTIFF 4.0.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash) via a crafted TIFF image, related to libtiff/tif_read.c:351:22.
The tcp_disconnect function in net/ipv4/tcp.c in the Linux kernel before 4.12 allows local users to cause a denial of service (__tcp_select_window divide-by-zero error and system crash) by triggering a disconnect within a certain tcp_recvmsg code path.
Division-by-zero vulnerabilities in the functions opj_pi_next_cprl, opj_pi_next_pcrl, and opj_pi_next_rpcl in pi.c in OpenJPEG before 2.2.0 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via crafted j2k files.
python-jose before 1.3.2 allows attackers to have unspecified impact by leveraging failure to use a constant time comparison for HMAC keys.
