CVSS v3.1 |
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in Envitech EnviDAS Ultimate Versions prior to v1.0.0.5. The web application lacks proper authentication which could allow an attacker to view information and modify settings or execute code remotely.
Sierra Wireless GX 440 devices with ALEOS firmware 4.3.2 do not require authentication for Embedded_Ace_Get_Task.cgi requests.
MongoDB on Red Hat Satellite 6 allows local users to bypass authentication by logging in with an empty password and delete information which can cause a Denial of Service.
The simple_set_acl function in fs/posix_acl.c in the Linux kernel before 4.9.6 preserves the setgid bit during a setxattr call involving a tmpfs filesystem, which allows local users to gain group privileges by leveraging the existence of a setgid program with restrictions on execute permissions. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2016-7097.
An issue was discovered in Zammad before 1.0.4, 1.1.x before 1.1.3, and 1.2.x before 1.2.1. Attackers can login with the hashed password itself (e.g., from the DB) instead of the valid password string.
It was noticed that a malicious process impersonating an Impala daemon in Apache Impala (incubating) 2.7.0 to 2.8.0 could cause Impala daemons to skip authentication checks when Kerberos is enabled (but TLS is not). If the malicious server responds with 'COMPLETE' before the SASL handshake has completed, the client will consider the handshake as completed even though no exchange of credentials has happened.
Mahara 15.04 before 15.04.8 and 15.10 before 15.10.4 and 16.04 before 16.04.2 are vulnerable to some authentication methods, which do not use Mahara's built-in login form, still allowing users to log in even if their institution was expired or suspended.
Vulnerability in web application Kind Editor v4.1.12, kindeditor/php/upload_json.php does not check authentication before allow users to upload files.
An information disclosure / elevation of privilege vulnerability in the BlackBerry Workspaces Server could potentially allow an attacker who has legitimate access to BlackBerry Workspaces to gain access to another user's workspace by making multiple login requests to the server.
A vulnerability in the management of shell user accounts for Cisco Policy Suite (CPS) Software for CPS appliances could allow an authenticated, local attacker to gain elevated privileges on an affected system. The affected privilege level is not at the root level. The vulnerability is due to incorrect role-based access control (RBAC) for shell user accounts. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to an affected appliance and providing crafted user input via the CLI. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to acquire a higher privilege level than should have been granted. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must log in to the appliance with valid credentials. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCve37724. Known Affected Releases: 9.0.0, 9.1.0, 10.0.0, 11.0.0, 12.0.0.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in Siemens SIMATIC CP 44x-1 RNA, all versions prior to 1.4.1. An unauthenticated remote attacker may be able to perform administrative actions on the Communication Process (CP) of the RNA series module, if network access to Port 102/TCP is available and the configuration file for the CP is stored on the RNA's CPU.
An authentication bypass vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos Space Network Management Platform may allow a remote unauthenticated network based attacker to login as any privileged user. This issue only affects Junos Space Network Management Platform 17.1R1 without Patch v1 and 16.1 releases prior to 16.1R3. This issue was found by an external security researcher.
IBM QRadar 7.2 does not perform an authentication check for a critical resource or functionality allowing anonymous users access to protected areas. IBM Reference #: 1999545.
Lack of authentication and authorization of cluster messages in Juniper Networks Junos Space may allow a man-in-the-middle type of attacker to intercept, inject or disrupt Junos Space cluster operations between two nodes. Affected releases are Juniper Networks Junos Space all versions prior to 17.1R1.
On TP-Link NC250 devices with firmware through 1.2.1 build 170515, anyone can view video and audio without authentication via an rtsp://admin@yourip:554/h264_hd.sdp URL.
JabberD 2.x (aka jabberd2) before 2.6.1 allows anyone to authenticate using SASL ANONYMOUS, even when the sasl.anonymous c2s.xml option is not enabled.
On certain Brother devices, authorization is mishandled by including a valid AuthCookie cookie in the HTTP response to a failed login attempt. Affected models are: MFC-J6973CDW MFC-J4420DW MFC-8710DW MFC-J4620DW MFC-L8850CDW MFC-J3720 MFC-J6520DW MFC-L2740DW MFC-J5910DW MFC-J6920DW MFC-L2700DW MFC-9130CW MFC-9330CDW MFC-9340CDW MFC-J5620DW MFC-J6720DW MFC-L8600CDW MFC-L9550CDW MFC-L2720DW DCP-L2540DW DCP-L2520DW HL-3140CW HL-3170CDW HL-3180CDW HL-L8350CDW HL-L2380DW ADS-2500W ADS-1000W ADS-1500W.
MaLion for Windows 5.2.1 and earlier (only when "Remote Control" is installed) and MaLion for Mac 4.0.1 to 5.2.1 (only when "Remote Control" is installed) allow remote attackers to bypass authentication to execute arbitrary commands or operations on Terminal Agent.
The network enabled distribution of Kura before 2.1.0 takes control over the device's firewall setup but does not allow IPv6 firewall rules to be configured. Still the Equinox console port 5002 is left open, allowing to log into Kura without any user credentials over unencrypted telnet and executing commands using the Equinox "exec" command. As the process is running as "root" full control over the device can be acquired. IPv6 is also left in auto-configuration mode, accepting router advertisements automatically and assigns a MAC address based IPv6 address.
MaLion for Windows and Mac 5.0.0 to 5.2.1 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication to alter settings in Relay Service Server.
