CVSS v3.1 |
In affected versions of the Octopus Kubernetes worker or agent, sensitive variables could be written to the Kubernetes script pod log in clear-text. This was identified in Version 2 however it was determined that this could also be achieved in Version 1 and the fix was applied to both versions accordingly.
GitHub Desktop is an open-source Electron-based GitHub app designed for git development. An attacker convincing a user to clone a repository directly or through a submodule can allow the attacker access to the user's credentials through the use of maliciously crafted remote URL. GitHub Desktop relies on Git to perform all network related operations (such as cloning, fetching, and pushing). When a user attempts to clone a repository GitHub Desktop will invoke `git clone` and when Git encounters a remote which requires authentication it will request the credentials for that remote host from GitHub Desktop using the git-credential protocol. Using a maliciously crafted URL it's possible to cause the credential request coming from Git to be misinterpreted by Github Desktop such that it will send credentials for a different host than the host that Git is currently communicating with thereby allowing for secret exfiltration. GitHub username and OAuth token, or credentials for other Git remote hosts stored in GitHub Desktop could be improperly transmitted to an unrelated host. Users should update to GitHub Desktop 3.4.12 or greater which fixes this vulnerability. Users who suspect they may be affected should revoke any relevant credentials.
An issue was discovered in SmtpTransport in CakePHP 3.7.6. An unserialized object with modified internal properties can trigger arbitrary file overwriting upon destruction.
DHCP can add routes to a client’s routing table via the classless static route option (121). VPN-based security solutions that rely on routes to redirect traffic can be forced to leak traffic over the physical interface. An attacker on the same local network can read, disrupt, or possibly modify network traffic that was expected to be protected by the VPN.
| Vendor: The Apache Software Foundation
Versions Affected: Apache OpenMeetings from 2.1.0 before 8.0.0
Description: Default clustering instructions at https://openmeetings.apache.org/Clustering.html doesn't specify white/black lists for OpenJPA this leads to possible deserialisation of untrusted data.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 8.0.0 and update their startup scripts to include the relevant 'openjpa.serialization.class.blacklist' and 'openjpa.serialization.class.whitelist' configurations as shown in the documentation. |
Open source machine learning framework. A vulnerability has been identified in Rasa that enables an attacker who has the ability to load a maliciously crafted model remotely into a Rasa instance to achieve Remote Code Execution. The prerequisites for this are: 1. The HTTP API must be enabled on the Rasa instance eg with `--enable-api`. This is not the default configuration. 2. For unauthenticated RCE to be exploitable, the user must not have configured any authentication or other security controls recommended in our documentation. 3. For authenticated RCE, the attacker must posses a valid authentication token or JWT to interact with the Rasa API. This issue has been addressed in rasa version 3.6.21 and all users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should ensure that they require authentication and that only trusted users are given access.
IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms 8.2 transmits or stores authentication credentials, but it uses an insecure method that is susceptible to unauthorized interception and/or retrieval. IBM X-Force ID: 280192.
IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms 8.2 allows web pages to be stored locally which can be read by another user on the system. IBM X-Force ID: 280190.
A vulnerability was found in AquilaCMS 1.412.13. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /api/v2/categories. The manipulation of the argument PostBody.populate leads to deserialization. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.10, 8.11 and IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3 stores sensitive information in URL parameters. This may lead to information disclosure if unauthorized parties have access to the URLs via server logs, referrer header or browser history. IBM X-Force ID: 255075.

Affected products do not properly sanitize user-controllable input when parsing user settings. This could allow an attacker to cause a type confusion and execute arbitrary code within the affected application. |
An issue was discovered in Faronics Insight 10.0.19045 on Windows. Every keystroke made by any user on a computer with the Student application installed is logged to a world-readable directory. A local attacker can trivially extract these cleartext keystrokes, potentially enabling them to obtain PII and/or to compromise personal accounts owned by the victim.
Shop Beat Solutions (pty) LTD Shop Beat Media Player 2.5.95 up to 3.2.57 is vulnerable to Directory Traversal via server.shopbeat.co.za. Information Exposure Through Directory Listing vulnerability in "studio" software of Shop Beat. This issue affects: Shop Beat studio studio versions prior to 3.2.57 on arm.
tgstation-server is a toolset to manage production BYOND servers. Starting in version 4.7.0 and prior to 5.12.1, instance users with the list chat bots permission can read chat bot connections strings without the associated permission. This issue is patched in version 5.12.1. As a workaround, remove the list chat bots permission from users that should not have the ability to view connection strings. Invalidate any credentials previously stored for safety.
Minecraft through 1.19 and 1.20 pre-releases before 7 (Java) allow arbitrary file overwrite, and possibly code execution, via crafted world data that contains a symlink.
Avaya IX Workforce Engagement v15.2.7.1195 - CWE-522: Insufficiently Protected Credentials
imapsync through 2.229 uses predictable paths under /tmp and /var/tmp in its default mode of operation. Both of these are typically world-writable, and thus (for example) an attacker can modify imapsync's cache and overwrite files belonging to the user who runs it.
The Otter WordPress plugin before 2.2.6 does not sanitize some user-controlled file paths before performing file operations on them. This leads to a PHAR deserialization vulnerability on PHP < 8.0 using the phar:// stream wrapper.
A vulnerability was found in wangl1989 mysiteforme 1.0 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is the function rememberMeManager of the file src/main/java/com/mysiteforme/admin/config/ShiroConfig.java. The manipulation leads to deserialization. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Lima launches Linux virtual machines, typically on macOS, for running containerd. Prior to version 0.16.0, a virtual machine instance with a malicious disk image could read a single file on the host filesystem, even when no filesystem is mounted from the host. The official templates of Lima and the well-known third party products (Colima, Rancher Desktop, and Finch) are unlikely to be affected by this issue. To exploit this issue, the attacker has to embed the target file path (an absolute or a relative path from the instance directory) in a malicious disk image, as the qcow2 (or vmdk) backing file path string. As Lima refuses to run as the root, it is practically impossible for the attacker to read the entire host disk via `/dev/rdiskN`. Also, practically, the attacker cannot read at least the first 512 bytes (MBR) of the target file. The issue has been patched in Lima in version 0.16.0 by prohibiting using a backing file path in the VM base image.
